The June 9, 2003 Sacramento Branch of the National Skate Patrol Board Meeting was at Vallejo's Restaurant after the Monday Night Skate. . Present: Alex, Bernie, Craig, Daedre, Gordon, Guy, Mitchell, Shellie, Steve. Gordon provided a several year history of the Skate Patrol in Sacramento. One significant accomplishment was helping open the American River Parkway for skating. Gordon explained that the Skate Patrol on a National level was becoming active again, with sponsorship by many skating product companies. Alex, Bernie, Craig, Daedre, Gordon, Guy, Mitchell, and Steve volunteered to join the Sacramento Branch of the National Skate Patrol. Gordon explained that soon www.active.com would again be open for Skate Patrol enrollment. Then, through www.active.com, all the interested could become part of the Skate Patrol for about $25. We elected the following officers:
We set the last Saturday in July (the 26th) as the training date for new Skate Patrol members. Steve Lee and Craig Robertson volunteered that one of them would host this training. Gordon will let us know when we can enroll in the Skate Patrol through www.active.com. We will set our next meeting after we can enroll. The meeting was adjourned. |
The July 30, 2002 Sacramento Branch of the National Skate Patrol Board Meeting was at the home of Julie Kaye. Pressent: Bernie, Daedre, Don, Gordon, Julie, Mari, Natalie, Steve. First we enjoyed the hospitality of Julie and Lorne. Then most of us enjoyed a pleasant dip in the pool. Next came a delicious barbequed beef potluck dinner. Feeling like royalty, we started our business meeting, discussing the following items:

The April 2, 2002 Sacramento Branch of the National Skate Patrol Board Meeting was at the home of Gordon Innes, Skate Patrol Director. We had pleasant time, a great potluck, and a good meeting. We decided to continue with Skate Patrol affiliation for another year. We decided on our 2002 Officers. We discussed ways of promoting our Monday Night Skate. As members of the Skate Patrol, we received wheels, lights, and protective gear. New uniforms will come later. If I receive additional notes from our Secretary, I will post them below.
