After the skate, I was able to connect my new Canon camera to my computer, so I am now posting our Christmas lights photos. Steve Lee and I did an original skate. We skated North on 3rd Street to Old Sacramento. Then we skated North on the American River Parkway to the Discovery Park Bridge. From the Discovery Park Bridge, we skated East on Richards Boulevard to 12th Street. On 12th Street we skated North to the American River Parkway. On the American River Parkway we skated back to Old Sacramento. On the way we raced and beat a lit-up riverboat to the I Street Bridge. At night it was quite a sight to see the 1912 I Street Bridge turn open to let the lit-up riverboat pass, and then turn closed . From Old Sacramento, we skated back to our 3rd and S starting point. I estimate we skated about 8 miles. After the skate, Steve and I enjoyed food, beverage, and conversation at Valllejo's.
