Mitchell and I skated to West Sacramento. We skated North on 3rd Street and West on the Tower Bridge to West Sacramento. In West Sacramento we skated to the golf course. The lighting was fair and the pavement was mostly quite smooth. We returned to our 3rd and S starting point via the I Street Bridge and Old Sacramento. I estimate that we skated about 6 miles. After the skate we both enjoyed food, beverage, and conversation at Vallejo's. Bernie |

Mitchell and Steve Lee and I skated. Steve, who can skate backwards faster than most people can skate forwards, led most of the skate. We did a Richards Boulevard skate. First we skated North on 3rd Street, West on N Street, and North again into Old Sac. From Old Sac we went up and down the bridge to Discovery Park. Instead of skating West into Discovery Park, we skated East on Richards Boulevard. Most of Richards Boulevard now has sidewalks. After regrouping in front of the Erotic Dancers club, we skated further East on Richards Boulevard, and South at the next light. As we skated South, we skated through the housing project. Next we skated South on 12th Street into Downtown Sacramento, where we enjoyed skating up and down the best parking lot in the world. Steve led us through parts of Capitol Park, then we returned to our 3rd and S starting point by skating West on S Street I estimate we skated 8 miles. After the skate all 3 of us enjoyed food, beverage, and conversation at Vallejo's. Bernie |

We had 4 skaters - Kathy, Mitchell, Steve Lee and myself. I forgot my camera. We did a Sacramento River route. First we went South on Third to Broadway. After regrouping, we skated West on Broadway till we were able to skate by the marina. After skating by the marina, we regrouped, then we skated South on Ramp Road and the levee to Sutterville Road. After regrouping we skated East on Sutterville Road to Land Park Drive. At Land Park Drive we again regrouped, then Steve Lee led us on a fun skate through Land Park. Leaving Land Park, we headed North on 17th Street. Soon we were regrouping in a high school. Then we again headed North on 17th Street. After regrouping at the Tower Theatre marquee, we skated East on Broadway, North on 11th, and West on S back to our original 3rd and S starting point. I estimate that we skated about 8 miles. After the skate all 4 of us enjoyed food, beverage, and conversation at Vallejo's. Bernie |

Hadley and I skated to Old Sacramento, through Discovery Park, on Garden Highway to Truxel, and on Truxel to West ElCamino. On West ElCamino we skated East to NorthGate. On NorthGate we skated North back into town. Hadley was very patient with me throughout the skate. I had new skates that had slow bearings that hurt my feet. Hadley waited for me many times. At 16th and E I took off my skates and walked home. Hadley skated back to our 3rd and S starting point. I estimate that we skated 6 to 8 miles. Bernie |
